FixMyPosture

1. What We Collect

FixMyPosture stores your profile (name, age, height, weight, pain points), your scan results, and your daily plan locally on your device. We do not require an account to use the App.

2. Photos and AI Processing

When you run a posture scan, your two photos (front and side) are uploaded to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection and forwarded to our third-party AI provider, Anthropic (the makers of Claude), for posture analysis. Before your first scan, the App displays an in-app disclosure that explains this and asks for your explicit consent. You can decline; you'll still be able to use the rest of the App.

What is sent: the two scan photos plus any pain points you selected during onboarding. What is NOT sent: your name, age, height, weight, contact details, or device identifiers.

Anthropic processes the photos solely for the requested posture analysis. Per their commercial Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, Anthropic does not retain inputs sent through the API after the request completes, does not sell them, and does not use them to train their AI models. These commitments provide protections equivalent to those in this Privacy Policy.

Photos are not stored on our server after analysis completes.

3. Face Data

FixMyPosture does not collect, extract, derive, or process face data. The App does not use FaceID, ARKit Face Tracking, the Vision framework's face detection or face landmark APIs, facial recognition, facial biometrics, face geometry, face mapping, face embeddings, or any other technology that identifies, classifies, or analyzes faces.

Your face may be incidentally visible in the front and side posture photos you choose to capture, because the photos show your full body from head to feet. However, the App and our AI provider analyze these photos only for posture and skeletal alignment indicators (e.g. head position relative to shoulders, shoulder symmetry, pelvic tilt, spinal curvature). No facial features, expressions, or identity-related characteristics are detected, measured, stored, or used.

Collection: Only the two posture photos you explicitly capture and submit are collected. No face data is derived from them.

Use: The photos are used solely to generate a posture analysis and a personalized exercise plan. They are not used for identification, authentication, advertising, profiling, training AI models, or any other purpose.

Sharing: The photos are transmitted to Anthropic (Claude AI) over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection for posture analysis only. They are not shared with any other third party. They are not sold, licensed, or otherwise disclosed.

Storage and Retention: Photos are processed in memory on our server and deleted immediately after the analysis response is returned (typically within a few seconds). They are not written to long-term storage on our server. Anthropic does not retain API inputs after the request completes. A local copy of each photo remains on your device only until you delete it from your photo library or uninstall the App; we have no access to that local copy.

4. Subscriptions

Subscription purchase and renewal events are processed by Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat). RevenueCat receives a randomly generated user ID and the purchase receipt. No personally identifying information is shared.

5. Analytics

We collect anonymous usage events (e.g. scan completed, exercise completed) to improve the App. No personally identifying information is included in these events.

6. Data Retention

Your local data stays on your device until you uninstall the App or use the "Reset all data" option in Settings. Scan photos sent to the server are deleted after analysis.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. Your Rights

You can delete all of your local data at any time via Settings → Reset all data. To request deletion of any server-side scan data, email [email protected].
